E. coli - High Pressure Homogenization (HPH)

Escherichia coli (E. coli) is used in many projects in multiple applications where bacterial lysates and cell proteins are utilized, for example in the Biopharma sector.

Cell Lysis (Disruption) it the technique used to gain access to the cell contents in the form of the lysate obtained. Our high pressure technology has some advantages when compared to other techniquest including enzymatic lysis and sonication.

Benefits and features of our HPH technology

Adjustable process pressure from 1,500 psi (10 MPa) to 60,000 psi (410 MPa) with reproducible results.

Variable flow rates from 1m samples to 275ml per minute -> 16 l/h to 130 l/h to 1000 l/h.

For Lab use - processing cells - samples - 1 ml, 10 ml, 18 ml and 35 ml.

Multiple options for temperature control including cooling and heating.

Easy to operate, clean and sterlized with low maintenance costs.
